Beneficiaries (ESR home institutes)

The SAGEX beneficiary institutes recruit and act as  home institute for the Early Stage Researchers (ESRs),  overseeing their research activities, scientific and soft-skills training, and pastoral care. Beneficiary institutes receive a proportion of the SAGEX grant in order to fulfill these commitments.

The SAGEX beneficiary institutes are:

• Queen Mary University of London
• Humboldt University Berlin
• Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY)
• Durham University
• CEA Saclay
• University of Copenhagen
• Trinity College Dublin
• RISC/RISC GmbH

Each beneficiary institute will host two ESRs, with the exception of RISC/RISC GmbH, which will host one.
